Wise: Self-belief

Self-belief is the foundation of any accomplishment. We often undersell ourselves, forgetting that we can be on the same playing field as everyone else.

Steve Jobs understood this. He knew that even the most successful people were just humans who dared to believe in themselves. Here’s what he said:

“Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you.”

If others can do it, so can you.

Start small. Be ambitious and still realistic. Make daily progress.

The worst outcome isn’t always as bad as you think.

You’ll be surprised with what you can achieve if you give yourself enough time.

Believing in Yourself Is the First Step to Achieve Anything

Wealthy: Scam or opportunity

How do you know whether you’re dealing with an investing opportunity or a scam?

Ask yourself: “Do I understand this investment? And does it make financial sense?”

Generating wealth has an underlying mechanism. And that’s value creation.

Create value. Make money.

But the thing with investing scams is that they don’t generate value in the economy. Once you understand that, you will be able to poke holes in investing opportunities that make no sense.

And if you can do that, you will no longer be a good victim for scammers so they’ll leave you alone.

Stick to what you know and what makes sense.

You might not get rich quickly, but at least you will not lose all your money.

One interesting thing

A quote from Shane Parrish’s new book, Clear Thinking: Turning Ordinary Moments into Extraordinary Results:

No one grows up saying I want to do the same thing everyone else is doing. And yet there is a comfort to surrounding yourself with people who agree with you, or who are doing the same thing you’re doing.”

Love this. To get extraordinary results, seek out people and situations that challenge you.
