Wise: Better thinking

What does better thinking mean?

The German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche, explained it best in his book, The Gay Science:

“He is a thinker; that means, he knows how to make things simpler than they are.”

But this is not what most people associate with thinking better. It seems like everyone wants to make everything more complex.

As if keeping things simple is for dumb people. This is not true. The smartest people in the world are those who are the best at simplifying things.

In my new article, I share how you can do that.

Wealthy: Having freedom

Everything you think about having freedom is true. That feeling of being in control of your life is priceless.

The good news is that you don’t need to be a multi-millionaire to have freedom. The key is to invest regularly and have healthy spending habits.

Plus, if you’re consistently improving your skills and working on yourself daily, it will only be a matter of time before you earn more money.

All these things will lead to a life of your own design. And that’s the best reward you can ever get.

In my other new article, I share four steps to design a life that gives you freedom.

One interesting thing

This is from one of my favorite chapters of The Stoic Path to Wealth, titled “Consistency Pays Off: Investing Is a Habit.”

The Stoic philosopher Musonius Rufus emphasized the importance of repetition, which is the most important thing when it comes to habit formation. He wrote:

“How then would knowing the theory of a thing be better than practicing that theory and doing things in accordance with its guidelines? Although understanding the theory behind the action enables one to speak, it is practice that enables one to act.”

The same is true for building wealth. Theory is important, but it’s the act, or rather the habit of action, that ensures that you build wealth.
