What It Takes To Be Free

Available now as an eBook, paperback, and hardcover:

“Liberty is slow fruit. It is never cheap; it is made difficult because freedom is the accomplishment and perfectness of man.”
— Ralph Waldo Emerson

This book is for people who also believe personal freedom is the most important thing in life.

In our free world, we can do what we want, spend time with people we like, and have a career that gives us joy. And yet, we don’t use our freedom. Why is that?

The problem is that we’re held captive by ourselves. On a deeper level, we all strive for the same thing: To be free. It’s in our nature.

Every human has the desire and the need to be free. What It Takes To Be Free will lead you on the path to personal freedom. It’s a highly practical guide that’s based on timeless wisdom and personal experience.

You’re the ruler of your own kingdom. You can do anything you want, spend time with people you like, and have a career that you love. If you’re willing to do what it takes, you will be free to do those things.

What Readers Say About The Book…

This book was exactly what I needed to kick-start my path to freedom. Darius is a great writer and expresses concepts clearly. I’m happy that I bought this book! I really like his writing in general, and I hope you will too!

I’ve enjoyed Darius’ articles and thought I’d buy this book. I’m older, and have actually met many of the goals he discusses. But free? Not really, not yet. I valued his practical wisdom, dispensed with no finger-wagging, and came away with a lot of provocative ideas to consider. As a previous reviewer noted, some of the advice is familiar but worth hearing again, because it’s so easy to get off-track. He emphasizes throughout that you don’t have to agree with everything he says but frankly, I do. The book’s tone is very conversational and easy to read. Well worth the time spent.

This book is absolutely made for all those who feel caged in their lives. In a very clear and direct way, the author aims to provide genuine advice to enable us to find our own way of living in accordance with who we are and what we really control. After finishing this book, I am still not free, but it has been incredibly easy to recognize all the bad decisions I have made in my life that have brought me to my own prisons. Now I am aware that I can become “the ruler of my own kingdom”. There will be a price to pay and this book will not help me on that point. It only represents the beginning of the journey, revealing another, freer path, and for this reason alone, it is already worth reading!
